Set on an elevated slope overlooking the sweeping landscapes of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this inviting barn is a dream base for cyclists of every kind. Road riders can tackle legendary climbs such as The Tumble and explore routes used in major events including the Dragon Ride and upcoming Tour de France stages. Mountain bikers have outstanding choice too, with three renowned trail centres close by, among them the ever popular Bike Park Wales (20 Miles). Quiet country lanes, rugged bridleways and long scenic loops begin right from the doorstep, supported by detailed maps, curated route suggestions and links to expert local guides. When you’re ready to unwind, a gentle footpath leads to the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal for peaceful waterside walks. The surrounding hills, including Sugar Loaf and Skirrid, offer superb hiking, while Abergavenny and Crickhowell all within 10 miles provide great food, independent shops and plenty of local character.

Inside, the property has been designed with sociable stays in mind. The airy open-plan living area forms the heart of the property, with a wood burner creating a welcoming atmosphere after long days exploring the hills. Large bi-fold doors open directly onto the enclosed terrace, blending indoor comfort with outdoor living and making the space especially handy for guests bringing dogs along. The lounge includes a Smart TV, while the kitchen and dining area are set up for easy mealtimes. A useful ground-floor cloakroom sits alongside a dedicated utility and boot room, complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer, coat storage, and a boot-drying rack for muddy walking gear. Upstairs, two generous king-size bedrooms create restful places to recharge. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room, while the second includes an en-suite with both a bath and a separate shower.

Outside, the enclosed terrace is furnished for outdoor dining and includes a charcoal BBQ for warmer evenings. Guests also have access to shared facilities across the grounds, including a games room with a pool table and darts, a peaceful wildlife lake surrounded by seasonal wildflowers, and seating areas dotted throughout the landscape. Guests will delight in direct access to the property's wood, a regeneration project of over four thousand trees that is filled with bluebells in the Spring. A communal bike wash doubles as a dog-cleaning area after rural adventures, while secure bike storage and private off-road parking for two cars add extra convenience.
