Make memories with your special someone at this single-level cottage in a complex of properties on a working farm located in Rhossili. Sleeping two people in one bedroom, it’s perfect for romantic couples looking for a peaceful retreat to call home while they explore the stunning South Wales countryside together. Grab your hiking boots and set off for the dramatic cliffs at Mewslade Bay. Climb to the top and you’ll be rewarded with views of the 70-metre-high rocks of Thurba Head. In the evening, come home to your cottage to unwind by the electric wood burner-effect fire in the cottage’s cosy lounge area.
From your private parking spot, step inside your cottage and you’ll be welcomed by an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with an electric wood burner-effect fire. Slip onto the sofa and take a moment to appreciate the charming, vintage-style interior, before you head to the farmhouse-style kitchen area to rustle up some dinner to share at the dining table. This space has a large bread-themed mural that creates a warm, nostalgic vibe. When the day is done, make your way to the king-size bedroom, which can be converted into two 2’6” twin beds upon request. Completing the layout is a stylish en-suite shower room. In the morning, if you have your dog with you, make a beeline for the complex’s 1.5-acre dog park, or Tucker's Park, an outdoor area that’s perfect for dogs that require a little quiet time.
Hike the steep path down to Rhossili Bay (1. 5 mile) and you’ll find three miles of sandy shores where you can see the shipwrecked Helvetia at low tide. Alternatively, visit the enigmatic King Arthur's Stone Dolmen (6 miles), a Neolithic burial chamber. Legend has it that the 25-tonne capstone was a pebble that King Arthur tossed from his shoe.
