Located just 0.5 miles from Saundersfoot’s lively centre and beach, this welcoming one-bed cottage is ideal for a quiet seaside holiday alone or with your partner, with meals out and easy adventures along the coast. Saundersfoot’s sandy beach is the star of the show here – ideal for paddling, picnicking in the sunshine or a gentle wander at sunset. The village centre has shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to explore, and when you fancy roaming further away, the local bus stop (50 metres) opens up wider opportunities for exploration.

On arrival, step inside and leave sandy shoes on the porch before continuing into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This cosy and inviting space has a sofa and tub chair for quiet evenings in, perhaps watching a film on the Smart TV. Prepare easy meals and cooked breakfasts in the compact but well-appointed kitchen, before sitting down to eat and chat at the dining table. Upstairs, the roomy bedroom features a king-size bed, a day bed and a TV for lazy mornings. The modern bathroom is a bright space to refresh after a day of seaside adventures, while outside, you can relax with an evening tipple in the enclosed garden. You’ll share the driveway with the owners, with two private parking spaces for a smooth arrival and departure.

If you fancy pulling on your walking boots, join the Wales Coast Path (1 mile) and head east to Wisemans Bridge (2 miles) and Amroth (3.5 miles) for pretty sea views. Alternatively, go west towards the colourful harbour town of Tenby (3.5 miles) for beaches, galleries and charming streets to wander. A little further afield, history lovers will love spending a day at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill (7.5 miles), where scenic walks and a friendly village pub make for a relaxed outing in beautiful surroundings.

The cottage is in a great location, very quiet and only mile from the harbour. It's quite a steep walk down but definitely good exercise! The cottage is really cosy and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying there. Easy to park. It's a great base for exploring nearby towns. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this cottageRead more. Hide
