This cosy bolthole welcomes tired travellers to relax amongst the serenity of the Pembrokeshire countryside; the open-plan living/sleeping layout boasts a calming ambience that reflects the tranquillity of your surroundings. There’s plenty of storage for your holiday attire, as well as three blissful beds, one double and two singles, that beckon guests to rest and reset before tomorrow’s adventure. Separate from the tent, there’s a shared kitchen block which features a private fridge/freezer, microwave, grill and a safe for each of the tents on-site. There’s also a private shower block just outside the tent, and a sheltered decked area with a picnic bench and a fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows beneath the stars. The shared heated indoor swimming pool is available between Easter and the end of October. Private parking for two cars is available. There is no electricity or Wi-Fi inside the bell tent, but there is power and secure phone charging available in the shared kitchen.
Charming to the core, the small village of St Florence is steeped in history, well known for its architectural feature known as a Flemish chimney, the last surviving example of its kind in the area. Keen walkers will be spoilt for choice with several scenic walks through the Ritec Valley beginning from the village. Explore hundreds of years of history at Carew Castle, 5 miles away; nature lovers can spot glimpses of rare birds and wildlife around the grounds. A traditional bucket and spade day isn’t far at neighbouring Tenby (3.5 miles) and Saundersfoot (6 miles), which both boast gloriously golden beaches and plenty of shops and cafes.
