So glad we took a chance and booked Brighside lodge. We couldn't find any reviews so was a bit apprehensive making the booking. However the lodge is beautiful, bright, comfortable and very spacious. It is well equipped, large freezer, dishwasher. The outside area easily accommodates six with a large table and comfortable sofa. We had sunny until itRead more set over the seaview. Bedrooms are all a good size with storage. Comfortable bed. Powerfully showers. The lodge has a lot of privacy. Also we had no problems parking two cars directly outside the lodge. Gwalia falls is a very quiet resort set on a hill. Five minute walk down the hill to the beautiful beach half of which is dog friendly. Ten minutes back up, it is steep but we (60 year olds) managed no problem. Great Sunday roast in the Ship but book early as the food runs out quickly. Great bar next door that serves pizzas. Both have outdoor seating overlooking beach. We loved the area, Aberporth has a couple of takeaways restaurant but main food shops are in Cardigan. Hide
