The barn is in a lovely peaceful location. We saw pheasants, red kites and could hear the sheep while the windows were open. Its a pleasant environment for those of us who are used to city life. The barn is spacious with large bedrooms. The bathrooms are also spacious and were clean. The kitchen/dining/living area is great for open plan living Read moreand there was plenty of kitchen equipment. The hosts left wine, milk and Welsh cakes which were all appreciated. Using what3words app would probably have helped as the sat nav took me to the farm and since I travelled alone and met family there, it was difficult to follow the booking instructions while driving. The gentleman at the farm was kind enough to escort me to the correct location, however. Hide

We recently stayed at this wonderful cottage in Aberystwyth with our four children and two dogs, and we honestly couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how exceptionally clean and well kept the cottage was. Everything was spotless, fresh, and beautifully maintained. The attention to detail really Read morestood out and made it feel welcoming, comfortable, and truly like a home away from home. Travelling as a family of six, plus two dogs, can sometimes be challenging but the cottage was perfectly suited to us. There was plenty of space for everyone, and it felt both family-friendly and dog-friendly without compromising on quality or comfort. Two of our children have additional needs one with Type 1 diabetes and the other with epilepsy so finding accommodation that feels safe, practical, and supportive is incredibly important to us. The cottage gave us that reassurance and peace of mind. What truly stood out, however, was the compassion shown by the hosts during a very frightening moment. During our stay, our son experienced his first seizure in over seven years, and we had to call 999 for emergency assistance. It was an incredibly stressful situation for our family, but the hosts were extremely accommodating, understanding, and supportive throughout. Their kindness, patience, and reassurance during such a difficult time meant more to us than we can properly express. Its rare to find somewhere that combines such high standards of cleanliness and comfort with genuine care and compassion from the owners. We are so grateful for how we were treated and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this cottage to others especially families, pet owners, and those who may need that extra level of understanding and flexibility. Thank you again for such a lovely stay and for your exceptional kindness when we needed it most. Hide
