This rustic and romantic wooden cabin with a hot tub and sauna is perfect for a dog-friendly getaway in mid-Wales for two. Surrounded by countryside and lovingly decorated with wooden furnishings and a forest-themed palette, this hideaway will connect you to nature. Spend your break exploring the nearby Shropshire Hills, stargazing spots and charming rural Welsh towns.

Climb a few steps and head inside to find yourself in a neutral-toned open-plan living space with a vaulted, beamed ceiling and a quirky splash of green, blue and red throughout. Antique and retro-style furnishings fill the space, as well as a working telescope. To one side of the room is a cosy lounge area with a wood burner and a sofa. Opposite is an intimate-sized dining table for two and a well-sized ‘U’-shaped kitchen unit with granite countertops and wooden cabinets. Continue into the green and wooden double bedroom with double doors opening onto the decking with calming nature views. Completing the interior is an elegant bathroom with a freestanding copper tub and a separate rainfall shower. Outside is an elevated sun deck with furniture. Beyond here is an enclosed, grassy garden with a sauna, cold-plunge tub and a wood-fired hot tub. There is private parking for one car.

While staying in the heart of Wales, you’ll be just 2.5 miles from the historic market town of Knighton – the perfect place for a meal out or some shopping. Explore your surroundings on two wheels with 32 cycle trails to choose from. Hiking enthusiasts can follow Offa’s Dyke Path (2 miles), or you could take a picnic to Clunton Coppice Nature Reserve (12 miles). Idyllic setting for a peaceful, reflective few days rest and a life reset for us. Nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and cosy bed linen. The feature stand alone copper bath is a special treat and the hot tub and separate sauna are another reason to visit. The cabin was carefully positioned to make the most of the fantastic views from each elevRead moreation and to take advantage of watching the abundance of wildlife particularly the various species of birds.
