Tucked away in a peaceful spot, perfectly placed for waking up to some stunning sunrises over the hills, the sumptuous king-size bed invites tired travellers to enjoy a well-deserved rest. The bi-fold doors open out onto a spacious, furnished patio, offering an ideal spot for dining alfresco as you take in the picturesque views over the large surrounding garden and across the countryside. Private parking is available for one car.

This idyllic rural spot is just moments from the northern coast of the Gower Peninsula, home to some breathtaking trails that await exploration on foot or by bike. Soak up some authentic Welsh village atmosphere at nearby Crofty (2 miles) or Pen-clawdd (3 miles), which both boast a host of wonderful cafes and restaurants. Culture vultures will not be disappointed with the fantastic local heritage on your doorstep; Weobley Castle, King Arthur's Stone Dolmen, Pennard Castle and the Gower Heritage Centre can all be reached within 8 miles. The golden sands of Rhossili Bay and Oxwich Bay Beach are within 12 miles.

We had a beautiful week at Penyfro. It is very well appointed and clean. The location was ideal for a quiet getaway yet convenient for visiting the amazing beaches of The Gower. The 'Welcome Pack' was a nice surprise. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, suggesting local places to visit etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Penyfro and woulRead mored definitely book again. Hide

Penyfro Retreat is perfect. A little bit of heaven in the Gower. Leanne has thought of everything to make your stay here perfect. It is peaceful and relaxing - we didnt want to leave it was so lovely. It has been so tastefully put together. It is the cleanest holiday rental property we have ever stayed in. An absolutely lovely holiday retreat, with everything that you need- a real home from home. Extremely comfortable with beautiful decor, great facilities & a fabulous location- we had an amazing week visiting the local towns, botanical gardens & stunning beaches with their miles of sand. A definite recommendation.

Penyfro Retreat is absolutely stunning, modern, spacious and in a very peaceful area in the countryside. It's decor is fantastic and cosy with beautiful patio. Equipped with everything we needed.
