  • A holiday apartment in a Georgian house on Tenby's famous Esplanade

Property code: OC-FB233

A gorgeous apartment overlooking Carmarthen Bay and only 500 metres from the centre of Tenby, one of the most popular coastal settlements anywhere in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Ideal for small families or groups of friends keen to explore the coast and surrounding countryside, the apartment features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, two versatile bedrooms and easy access to the town’s harbour and popular beaches.

The apartment is located on the esplanade and is only a few metres from the ancient walls that have overlooked South Beach for centuries. Accessed via a 40-step climb from the shared entrance hall, the apartment is blessed with numerous period features including high ceilings and bay windows that allow natural light to pour in throughout the day. The apartment’s open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a neatly arranged space with sea views from its comfortable soft furnishings. The two bedrooms – a king-size bedroom with sea views and a zip-and-link twin bedroom at the rear of the apartment – have real character and are located across from a family bathroom. There is no outside space at the apartment, but its enviable location so close to the beach and town centre more than makes up for it.

Tenby’s winding streets and its historical harbour (500 metres) are lined with family-friendly pubs and restaurants, independent shops, galleries and more. Water sports lovers will be at home on either North or South Beach (within 800 metres), while those keen to see the town from a different perspective should head for Caldey Island (1 mile), a must for those with an interest in Celtic history. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path, a haven for walkers, also runs through the town.

This apartment has the most stunning view and was very close to the town centre the only downfall being the 40 internal stairs if you have mobility issues. It was very warm ( we stayed in January ) and had a very nice chilled break. It has everything that you need for a self catering holiday and is reasonably priced. The beds were very comfortable Read moreand a good nights sleep was had by all. Plus the parking permit for the multi storey car park was a nice little touch. Hide

A tad tired in general, could do with a spruce up. WiFi awful, lumpy pillows, uncomfortable living area and poorly lit bathroom. Plus point, nice view. Definitely wouldnt stay again.

A good solid apartment with fabulous views and in a pretty central location. Very comfortable beds and sofa. Some of the furniture was tired/damaged and the place would benefit from a bit of a face lift. The 40 steps aren't ideal though are clearly advertised. 5 star location, 2 start accommodation. Positives, Lovely views of course. Kitchen is relatively new and is reasonable well equip, sadly fridge had no freezer section. Poor WIFI as the router is in the ground floor entrance hall. Curtains and poles falling away from walls especially in the second bedroom. Hide

It's a spacious and clean flat in a fab location. The view over the sea is second to none - thoroughly enjoyed it.
