The kitchen area has a contemporary look and opposite is the dining area, with space for everyone to catch up around the table at mealtimes. At the other end of the pod are the two welcoming bedrooms, a king-size bedroom and a kid’s bunkroom for two. There’s also a well-appointed family shower room which completes the interior. Heading outside through the French doors, find the veranda overlooking a peaceful paddock, offering the perfect spot to sit with a cool drink or a morning brew. There’s a larger garden area to the side of the lodge with a picnic bench, an indulgent hot tub, and a BBQ for relaxing evenings under the stars.
Head out for walks in the nearby Elan Valley (15 miles) and be sure to go to the historic market town of Kington (15 miles) to visit the art galleries, independent shops, and cafes. Keen cyclists will want to visit the National Cycle Museum (7.5 miles), while water sports enthusiasts will love Llandrindod Wells Lake (7 miles) where you can go paddleboarding, pedal boating, and canoeing. Have a great day out at Bulith Wells (15 miles) discovering the castle remains and giant redwood trees at Groe Park, there’s also an arts centre, theatre, and cinema.
