Oozing elegance and charm from its traditional features, such as the wooden beamed ceilings, open fire and stone-built exterior, this luxury cottage is ideal for an extra special family getaway. Make the most of the estate’s grounds, housing a fruit orchard, and see the best bits of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) during your dog-friendly escape.

Step inside the property to find yourself in a hallway which will lead you to the well-sized lounge. Above you will be dark oak beams, and an open fire sits inside a characterful exposed stone fireplace. The country-style decor pairs shades of green and red with the wooden furnishings. Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with wooden worktops, neutral tones throughout and a large wooden dining table in the centre of the room. Climb the curved staircase to reach the first floor – here, you’ll find a family bathroom, a king-size bedroom and a twin room. Outside is a secure garden with furniture and an apple and pear orchard.

While staying on the Llanover Estate, you’ll be welcomed to explore the private Llanover Garden, with prior arrangement. Just 0.5 miles away is the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) – here you’ll find an abundance of scenic dog walking trails, National Trust Sugarloaf and Usk Valley (6.5 miles) and Clydach Gorge (7.5 miles). A holiday in Wales wouldn’t be complete without a trip to a nearby castle – within 16 miles, you’ll have Raglan, Skenfrith and Grosmont.

A beautiful, characterful cottage. The garden particularly is ideal for pets and children as it is large, level and enclosed. The stairs need careful attention for anyone with mobility problems but this is part of the charm of the property..

Very comfortable period cottage with lots of charm. Stairs are steep and take a bit of getting used to as the curve round. Tall people would need to mind their heads. Lovely and warm for the time of year. Bed really comfortable and shower very nice inside roomy cubicle. Not too far back into Abergavenny just off the Pontypool road.

Quaint cottage in excellent location. Wonderful open fire and very comfortable beds. Some areas of the cottage could do with attention.

Such a wonderful and charming cottage. We spent a lot of time exploring the beautiful location with castles nearby and the wonderful showcaves less than an hour away. It was lovely to come back to warmth and comfort after busy days filled with adventure.

A lovely cottage with lots of interesting features. Very comfy beds and generally quiet despite the storm we had! Heating not on which was a shame as the weekend was wet and windy but we managed with the fire instead. Great shower.

We had a lovely weekend at Court Farm Cottage. We instantly felt at home in this brilliant cottage which has loads of history all around. The garden was perfect for our children and dog. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms very comfortable.
