Adventure is always assured from this impeccable barn conversion on the foothills of the Black Mountains, a place with panoramic views of Sugar Loaf Mountain to admire from the moment you wake up. Surrounded by verdant fields with grazing livestock, this truly rural cottage provides peaceful surroundings and a real sense of tranquillity. The barn conversion hosts two guests in a sweet single-storey layout but sits right next door to a further two-person property that’s also available to rent, making it ideal for two couples travelling together.

Original stonework and ancient beams are maintained in this cosy country cottage, features that complement the rural views from every window. Spend time together in the compact lounge/kitchen/diner, an L-shaped space with clearly defined areas for cooking, dining and unwinding. Sofas are positioned opposite a Smart TV and a wood burner effect electric fire for your snuggly nights in. Just outside the property, a small bistro set invites you to enjoy warm evenings outdoors, ideally with a sundowner in hand. Moving back indoors, find a double bedroom and a refreshing shower room along the hallway. The bedroom is wonderfully comfortable with soft linens and an enthralling view to wake up to.

Discover walking routes from every direction of this property with the awe-inspiring scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park all around you. Set in the Usk Valley, this town has a spectacular river running right through it and offers pretty, riverside walks into the depths of the national park.
