Set at the foothills of the Black Mountains, this romantic retreat is perfect for two loved ones. A charming cabin situated next to a babbling brook, with colourful interiors and panoramic views.
You will have a private parking space at the top of meadow where you can walk down through the luscious greenery to the cabin, which is one of two on a small glamping site. Inside, to one side is a little kitchenette where you can prepare quick and easy meals, and a dining table where you can both sit and eat together. A wood burner provides warmth for the whole cabin so you can curl up on the sofa on chilly evenings. The double bed is in the centre of the room for a restful night’s sleep. Next door to the cabin is a separate building that contains a private shower and a WC. Take your meals outside and sit on the front decked area, which has a fire pit, and listen to the river trickling nearby
Take off on foot from the doorstep into the Black Montains with an abundance of walking routes and trails. Take a long distance hike up Hay Bluff (5.5 mikes) and Twmpa (5 miles) where you will be rewarded with spectacular, far-reaching views. Take to the water on a paddle board or kayak at the spectacular Llangorse Lake (7.5 miles). Alternatively, visit the delightful town of Hay-on-Wye (6.5 miles) with its rich literary history and abundance of pubs and eateries.
