We were a group of 16 that included 5 children. We went in January so just needed somewhere large for us to gather and have fun. Which we did. There were lots of games and puzzles to choose from. A dinning room big enough for us all. The children loved exploring the house. The hot tub was used as was the table tennis table. We hope to come again ifRead more there are not too many more of us. The only negative for me personally was the bed was too low, so will have to look more carefully next time Hide

Stunning location and property, absolutely perfect for a big get-together. Fantastic communication and support from the owners. Very reasonably priced for the number of beds. Genuinely couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had a fantastic weekend at The Sheriff's, and were blown away by the cleanliness, decor and overall location! The welcome hamper was a lovely added touch, and each room was so nicely set up with plenty of space for 20 people not to be falling over each other all weekend. Although there weren't many public footpath directly from the house, the paRead moreths around the farm fields meant we were still able to get outdoors as much as we wanted. Hopefully we can find an occasion to be back! Hide

The Sherriffs is a lovely old building set in unspoilt grounds - when we were there they were full of snowdrops. The rooms are all spacious and the beds comfortable! The kitchen is a lovely place to gather and the main living room has enough seats for everyone and a fantastic fireplace with an open fire. A great place to stay!
