We had such a comfortable and peaceful stay at Brest Y Garth. The hillside views are absolutely stunning and the walks right out of the door and through the woods or down to the lake are lovely for dogs. It feels really safe and you aren't overlooked or bothered by anybody. The owners Caroline and Matthew were nearby if we needed them but everythinRead moreg was great. It's a handy location for exploring local towns like Builth Wells, Rhyadar and the Elan Valley Reservoirs which is a great day out but so easy to just pull up a chair on the patio and look at the view! We will definitely return. Thank you. Hide

Absolutely amazing private property. If you're looking for amazing views with no one around this is for you. The driveway up could be a bit more cut back so the car doesn't get scraped by all the vegetation that grows quickly in summer but that's part of the charm I guess

Very private and peaceful with a great view. Walks from the door and an abundance of wild and bird life. You are above an A road which gives easy access to Builth Welles, etc., but we heard little traffic noise. We found the house very comfortable and well equipped with beautiful paintings. Thank you Caroline for being a very helpful host.
