Locally, the town of Builth Wells is awash with rich Welsh history and delectable architecture, so be sure to carve out time to get to know this fascinating town. Close by, you’ll find the neighbouring locales valleys of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys –, admirable swathes of countryside filled with impressive dams and amazing reservoirs to walk around. Known as the outdoor capital of Wales, you’re offered endless beauty here. Explore attractions along the River Wye including the Gilfach Nature Reserve (16.5 miles), Craig Goch Dam (20 miles) and Claerwen Reservoir (20 miles) to capture the vibrance of the area.

We went away for some peace and quiet and thats exactly what we got. Plenty of room for our party of ten and beds were really comfortable. Views from the hot tub were beautiful. Loved our stay here and Jill and Ian were very helpful. Thanks guys.

Barn was in a great location if you were happy to travel to get to places . nice and quite had everything you needed with an added bonus of a hot tub . Elan valley reservoirs is worth a visit

Barn is lovely.. . very spacious inside and out, with all you needful for a comfortable stay. Hot tub, pool table, table tennis table and the views are an added bonus. What a beautiful barn conversion in a fabulous location. There is lots to do if you like to explore and equally staying in the house was very relaxing with wonderful views, an excellent outdoor space and hot tub.. We wouldnt hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful stay, despite the storm and power cut. The barn is absolutely beautiful, and so spacious! There was 10 of us adults, a baby and a large dog. Its breathtaking when you walk in a real wow factor! We will be returning and if youre on the fence, then go for it you wont regret it. The owners are so very helpful

What a holiday cottage! Nested in the peace and quiet of the Welsh countryside, this barn was a (luxury) home from home. Incredible living space with TV area, dining/games table and kitchen all in one. The bedrooms are set in another wing of the property so people going to bed early aren't disturbed by the noise in the barn area. Fantastic stay. Minor issue when we first arrived but owners were quick to respond (despite being on holiday themselves) and they went out of their way to make sure everything was in order and that we enjoyed our stay. Really nice location for exploring Wales and plenty of things to do within a 30-40 minute drive. All I can say is BOOK NOW - Llwyngwrgan Barn is so special and in the most beautifully quiet spot, a real haven for wildlife and bird spotting, the hot tub was a real treat for all ages. We were a four generation family getting away for a special birthday, the week had beautiful weather for us to explore the area and have lovely pub lunches and walRead moreks. The barn has a fabulous layout, Three ensuite bedrooms, open plan entertaining area and a fab cinema sized TV for movie night. 5 stars incredible! Hide
