Nice, well equipped cottage with great views of the hills and lake. Unfortunately it was so hot we couldn't use the conservatory most of the time. The garden was pretty but quite overgrown in places so there were brambles, nettles and thistles to avoid. The ponds along the edge are a bit of hazard for small children. The area was lovely to explore Read moreand there were few cars on the very narrow roads around the cottage. Its a shame there were no walks close to the cottage and one of the only ones we found was blocked by the farmer with a padlocked gate and untrimmed nettles where the footpath should have been. Hide

A great location, with a lovely conservatory and great views across the valley. Handy for exploring the area. Well-equipped kitchen and full instructions on everything. Be aware that the parking is alongside the house and, basically, on the road. Also, there is a compost heap in the garden that could be a hazard for curious dogs and children. Very well equipped and comfortable cottage with a superb conservatory and great view over the hills and lake. A good base for visiting places in the area, though some local footpaths had been blocked off or locked.

This cottage is a lovely place to stay with amazing views and easy access to nice walks. The road outside was very quiet and safe. The garden was lovely, if the weather had been better, we would have sat outside and used the barbecue.
