An absolutely beautiful cottage - one of the best we have ever stayed in and that statement is based on nearly 40 years of visiting various locations in the Brecons and particularly the Black Mountains. Very well equipped, lovely welcome, unobtrusive but caring. Great location.....Just very nearly perfect!

I dont think I can say enough good things about this property! It was clean and inviting on arrival and it managed to be spacious and cosy. Nicola was easily contactable, but gave us privacy through our stay. The location is stunning and allowed us to explore a small part of beautiful Wales. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely place to stay for a cosy winter weekend. Gorgeous log fire and comfy sofas to sit on and while away the evening, listening to jazz on the very convenient smart speaker. The bakery in Talgarth was great for breakfast supplies. All in all a very relaxing place to stay.

Nicola and Mark went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. They were attentive and responsive while still respecting our privacy entirely. The barn was beautifully decorated for Christmas in a subtle yet festive manner, which was especially meaningful for us with a 2-year-old in tow. We will undoubtedly be returning.

We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Lovely views, is very quiet, and is in an area with wonderful dark skies at night. The Barn provides very comfortable accommodation for 4 and is very well fitted out with all the appliances you could need. The owners could not have been more helpful and pleasant. We thoroughly recommend it.
