A spacious ground-floor apartment in an elegant period property less than 1 mile from Tenby, one of the many gems that scatter the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Featuring a chic lounge/diner, a modern galley-style kitchen and an enclosed patio garden, it is an ideal base for an active group keen to explore the countryside surrounding Carmarthen Bay.

The apartment, a former gentleman’s residence, is set in a 19th-century property located off a private lane and encircled by trees. It has retained many of its original features, including large bay windows that flood long, stylishly decorated rooms with plenty of natural light during daytime hours. Accessed via a set of steps and into an entrance hall, guests soon find themselves in the lounge/kitchen, an elegantly decorated space with wooden flooring and beautiful soft furnishings arranged around a feature fireplace. Mealtimes are enhanced by the garden views from the dining table, and it’s only a short meander from here to the galley-style kitchen. The apartment’s three bedrooms are all beautifully finished and retain period charm: the king-size bedroom offers ample storage, the double bedroom features an en-suite shower room, and the twin bedroom is an ideal space for youngsters. A stylish family bathroom stands nearby. Patio doors in the lounge/diner lead out into the enclosed patio and lawn garden that includes seating and space for children to play.

Tenby (within 1 mile) offers cultural, historical and natural attractions suitable for all ages. The town centre’s winding streets are home to a blend of shops, eateries and pubs that feed down towards its harbour, from which it’s possible to reach Caldey Island (2 miles) via boat. North and South Beach are both havens for water sports lovers, while the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which runs through the town, is popular with walkers.

This is a beautiful spacious, light apartment full of period detail. The garden was delightful. There is a 12-15 minute walk ( part uphill) to the street above the north beach. A Co-op was nearby and handy for shopping.

Another fabulous visit to St Marys. The house has everything you need and the garden is perfect. The 2 parking spaces are an added bonus! We walked every day up the hill to the beach which the kids loved!

Lovely location and great space, but attention to detail missing.......needed a good pre-season clean - too many cobwebs, unswept patio, grubby behind tv (we were looking for sockets) and grubby outdoor table etc. Ensuite loo is a poor flusher. We also had the joy of arriving to a building surrounded by scaffolding, so negotiated a (small) discountRead more....should have been a lot more given the noise, disruption and rude awakenings on what ended up being 2 days of our holiday. Grubby from scaffolding Hide

A lovely holiday house. We appreciated how spacious it was, having a garden and parking in Tenby is definitely a plus. Short walk into Tenby but our 4 year old and 6 year old managed it fine. We would definitely return

Flat 1 at St. Mary's was ideal for our family of six - grandparents, parents and two children. The property is clean, spacious and extremely well located for the local Spar and access to the town. Dedicated parking for two cars was a much appreciated (and necessary) bonus. Have booked again for next year!
