Bwthyn Carreg is a most comfortable and very clean cottage you could ever want to stay in. The owner (Gwenan), is really responsive and warmly greeted us at the door to hand over the keys and gave helpful instructions. It is really spacious, with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. The bed is comfortable. The shower is effRead moreicient. Plenty of storage for clothes and cases. The local pub in the village is cosy and serves tasty homemade food. It's worth noting that it doesn't open on Mondays or serve food on Tuesday's. Another nice eatery is Groes Inn Hotel. The location of the property in Rowen is ideal as a base for local walks, or a short drive away from many other popular attractions in North Wales. We would definitely return. Loved every part of it. A beautiful cottage which is spotlessly clean set in the most picturesque village of Rowen, 3 miles from Conwy. The house is well equipped and the kitchen is functional for cooking for family meals. Makes a great base for exploring North Wales. We took our two young grandchildren and it worked really well for beach, local activities and walks.

This is a lovely cottage. Very comfortable and in a beautiful village location with the local pub 5 minutes walk away. It's well placed for exploring the north Wales coast and Anglesey, and is on the edge of the National Park for exploring the mountains and lovely villages. I happily recommend this.

Very clean and spacious cottage, and the hosts very welcoming and helpful. Very comfy bed, TVs in every room, though signal may disappear in bad weather, kitchen well equipped . Cottage is in a pretty village with lovely views and there is seating outside. Quite a long way from any shops so bring some basics for the first night. Also no books, mapsRead more or information about places to visit. It may or may not bother you but you may be woken by the resident cockerel as early as 4.15. Easy parking. Hide

A lovely, beautifully clean cottage in easy reach of Snowdonia, North Wales coast and Anglesey. The cottage worked well for us and our two boys (9 & 12), plenty of space to relax in the house on a wet day and a perfect base for exploring.
