Set in the quiet village of Porth Amlwch, this Grade II-listed holiday home makes a wonderful base for discovering the Isle of Anglesey and its beautiful coastline. Formerly a school hall in a Welsh chapel, it has been carefully converted into a stylish apartment with modern touches throughout, creating a characterful retreat for couples or families of up to six.

Dating back to 1826, this spacious property has been stylishly designed and furnished to complement the original form. The light-filled open-plan living room/kitchen/diner is well suited for unwinding at the end of the day, with a 65” HDTV and gorgeous soft sofas to lounge on. Put the kettle on for a cup of tea and fresh Welsh cakes in the modern kitchen, or gather at the dining table for rounds of cards and a warming bowl of Welsh Cawl. Freshen up in the contemporary walk-in shower before settling in for a superb night’s sleep, with one bedroom featuring two king-size zip-and-link beds and the other offering a sumptuous king-size bed of its own. With two en-suite shower rooms and TVs in both bedrooms, everyone can enjoy a little extra comfort and space, whether you’re getting ready for an outing or simply easing into the day.

While the property doesn’t have a garden of its own, embrace your close proximity to Anglesey Coast Path, with sunrise strolls beside the cliffs. Venture 2 miles east and find yourselves at Porth Eilian for a sheltered watersports haven, or 1.5 miles to the west to discover the Bull Bay Golf Club. Explore Parys Mountain, 2.5 miles, to see where copper was mined from the Bronze Age to the 1780s. Finish up your days with fresh fish and chips or a drink in the pub.

This apartment is a great base for anglesey if you ignore the building site. The apartment is well equipped spacious and very nice. We only stayed for 2 nights but it was a very nice location. The Adelphi pub nearby was very friendly and helpful. Its a long walk if you want food tho as you have to walk to the main village.
