This family-friendly apartment is in a sought-after area of Saunderfoot, a charming village just 3.5 miles from Tenby. Featuring an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a balcony area and direct access to the beach, it is the ideal base for an active group keen to explore the cultural, historical and natural attractions found across Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Accessed via a flight of steps, the apartment is located within a complex on The Strand, a narrow road that links the apartment to the beach and the town centre. Its homely interior is bright and welcoming, with inviting soft furnishings laid out across carpeted flooring. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner enjoys plenty of natural light throughout the day thanks to the large sea-facing doors that link it to the balcony; the area also has a range of comfortable seating throughout and is a fantastic place to start and end a day full of adventure. The apartment’s double bedroom offers plenty of storage space, while an alcove in the hallway features a bunk bed that’s an ideal bolthole for youngsters. A family shower room stands nearby. The apartment enjoys instant access to the beach, elevated views of which can be enjoyed from the seating on the balcony accessed via the lounge.

Saundersfoot (500 metres) is a great place for families to unwind thanks to its selection of shops, cafes and restaurants that lie close to the harbour. The beach (20 metres) is popular with swimmers, sunbathers and sandcastle builders alike, while the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which runs through the town, is a must for walkers. The path leads to Wiseman’s Bridge (1.5 miles) and then Tenby (3.5 miles) a delightful town with large beaches, historical sites and a harbour offering Caldey Island boat trips (4.5 miles).

This was our third visit to this apartment and we really enjoyed our stay. There's everything you need and more! The only disappointment was a lack of a table on the balcony which made al fresco meals a bit difficult! Otherwise a perfect stay with wonderful weather,which was a bonus.

A well-equipped venue with fantastic sea views, some wonderful moonrises. We had a lovely break.
