The cottage itself is actually a studio and is smaller than the photos make it look. There are pros and cons so to be fair I will go with the cons first. There are large containers for recycling in the room. I think these would be best placed outside in a covered area. The hob has no numbers or direction to know which way to turn the dial. The showRead moreer floor was extremely slippery and on the first morning as I stepped out with one leg outside the other went in completely the other direction and I had to shout for my husband as I literally couldnt move. I had a really nasty bruise on my leg from where it hit the shower door. I used a towel on the shower floor after that. The freezer part of the fridge was full of ice and food that had been left by a previous renter. The vacuum cleaner was already full up. The toilet cistern valve kept sticking so there was continuous water flowing which we had to keep sorting out. The day we left which was a day earlier than we needed to as 10am was very early for us I stripped the bed and found a nasty stain on the mattress cover near the headboard. Obviously not ours as there was no stain on the sheet Id removed. I have relayed all of this to the owner with photos to back up. The Pros now so not all negative! The bed itself was very comfortable, as was the sofa. The kitchenette was well equipped for self catering and apart from previously mentioned the studio was clean and tidy. There were a couple of deckchairs provided for the garden as well as a wooden seating/table unit. The garden was very peaceful and full of birds. We had our little dog with us and the only place we had to worry about her escaping was the gate to the steps as the ground falls away in the middle but we blocked it each time we came back. Its very convenient to travel to Tenby and surrounding areas. We walked into Saundersfoot on the first day but its a really steep walk back up the hill so took the car after and parked in Coppet Hall . Would we go back, sadly no as for us it was a little too bijou. As I said previously the owner is aware of the downsides we had and has said he will be looking to put these right Hide

Small but perfectly formed, comfortable, quiet and lovely and light..although bit too light when sun rises..maybe bring a sleep mask if you wake with the sun. Useful parking spot so can walk into the town..takes a bit longer to walk back up the steep hill. If the garden path steps are a bit deep there is a public path at the side, slightly slippy gRead moreravel but maybe easier. The little wood is ideal for a morning dog walk and garden catches the sun nicely. Hide

Beware The Cwtch looks nothing like the pictures Limited space I know but why wouldnt you invest in a storage box outside to store all the recycling boxs and deck chairs. Very dirty , mould at the bottom of the curtains, disgusting extractor fan grill , horrible frayed old fllthy pull cord Whoevers job it is to clean The Cwtch needs sacking as a quRead moreick push around with the vacuum cleaner ( which needs emptying by the way before new guests arrive) isnt enough. Not worth 450 for 4 night Hide

Loved the location, and especially the wood behind. It was ideal for letting our Chihuahuas run around off lead and somewhere other than the garden to relieve themselves.

We thought the cottage was ideal for us and the dog. Enclosed garden was good. Internet was strong. The steps are steep but this was explained in the description. We thought the position was very good for Saundersfoot and Tenby. Tenby South Beach was excellent for walks.

Lovely place to stay needs a little TLC and be aware the property is at the top of a very steep bank and has 20 odd steps to get up when you reach it

The outside space could be better, somewhere comfortable to sit out in the garden would be nice. The deck chairs that are provided, arent comfortable for more than 5 minutes. The cottage is tiny but well equipped and the location is great. The only thing that we didnt like were the huge recycling bins in the kitchen.

I was very comfortable. With a wood literally next door it was great for my dog. The walk down to the harbour took about 10 minutes, there were plenty of places to eat and shops for the forgotten items. The garden is enclosed so safe for dogs.

Steps are a bit steep after a full day of exploring but path to the side of the property that can be used. Only a short walk to the glen beach which has steps up to the harbour. Beautiful tiny and perfect for 2 and 1 dog. Nice location but it is up a huge hill from saundersfoot, walkable if you're quite fit. Also the beach isn't very assessable from the cwtch as it's a very steep hill with lots of steps. Muddy ok very grown path in places. Garden is safe and private except for the small side gate which doesn't lock, as staRead moreted there are 23 large steps upto the property with only a loose role to hold onto, but we would return as it is spotless and comfortable.
