Up to ten guests can stay in this traditional countryside cottage in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Park with characterful original features and a hot tub in the large garden. Spend quality time with your loved ones in the airy and colourful rooms with wooden beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork and elegant antique furnishings. During the daytime, explore the surrounding nature reserves, historic market towns and the North Wales coastline.
Move through the cobble forecourt and a stone arch entrance and step inside this charming two-storey Tudor-style country house. Setting the tone for the rest of the property is a busy dining room with wooden half-timber walls, a feature fireplace, and a Welsh dresser brimming with antique crockery. This style continues into the glass-fronted, open-plan lounge/diner with floral curtains and double doors opening onto the garden. Two sofas surround the exposed brick feature fireplace and behind are two dining tables. The contrasting kitchen is sleek and modern with white countertops and blue cabinets on the ‘U’-shaped fitted unit. Also on the ground floor is a twin room. Climb the stairs to reach two king-size bedrooms and two super-king-size bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have en-suites – three with showers and two with a shower over the bath. Outside is a spacious lawned garden with a sheltered dining area plus a hot tub. There is ample private parking.
