Escape to this rustic haven near Abergele in North Wales. With warm, welcoming décor throughout, this four-person, pioneer-inspired cabin is a cosy base for days spent exploring. After a day in the great outdoors, return to your private hot tub, settle beside the toasty wood burner, or unwind in the traditional rocking chair out on the decking. Pure bliss!

Slip off muddy walking boots and step inside this charming retreat, where the warmth of the wood burner is ready to thaw frosty toes after a day outdoors. Wooden-clad walls and ceilings run throughout, giving the property an earthy, cabin-like feel from the moment you arrive. The open-plan living space is ideal for card games and evening nibbles before turning to the stylish kitchen for bowls of hearty stew and fresh cups of tea. Rock back and forth on the chair on the decked veranda as you admire your rolling surroundings, or take a dunk in the bubbling hot tub, with nothing but birdsong for company. Two cosy bedrooms provide flexible accommodation, each considerately styled with traditional touches and a calm, restful feel. With Freeview TVs in both rooms, lazy mornings and well-deserved lie-ins are very much encouraged.

If you’ve brought your horse along for the holiday, make the most of the modern stabling and training arena (both available by arrangement for an additional cost) and enjoy the bridleways winding through the countryside around the farm. There’s plenty to do without four hooves, too. The coast is close enough for easy day trips, with the nearest beach just 5 miles away and plenty more sandy stretches to discover along the shoreline. Abergele (6 miles) is known for its pubs, shops and places to eat, while Colwyn Bay (12 miles) brings all the charm of a classic Victorian seaside resort, with golden sands and a restored pier.
