Very nice cottage, really enjoyed the stay. Downside is a not working shower which could be very nice during the hot wheater period.

Great location, facilities, and structure! The Aga stove added to the quirkiness and the layout of the cottage was extremely cosy and gemutlich - the Aga heats the water for the shower, so there is no lack of extremely hot water (but controllable) though the pressure isnt high - adds to the quaintness of the cottage. This was a lovely quirky cottage to stay in, with interesting period features and a cosy feel. It was very well equipped and had lots of storage space. The shower wasn't great, but the water was hot and the bath was a good alternative. The Aga was a new experience for us but we used it several times successfully and it gave a lovely warm welcome onRead more coming in, as we didn't have great weather. The location is fantastic and the views are amazing. It was so peaceful with only the birds and sheep to listen to. The shops in Church Sretton are a short drive away and the cottage is ideally placed for visiting many interesting places, as well as lovely walks in the Long Mynd. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday in this area. Hide

We had a great time in this quirky cottage. If you are not used to quirky then... Shower is very weak, but ample hot water so I used the bath. Awkward to sit comfortably near the wood burner, not an issue if you don't use it, but we were cool and used it every night. A stunning cottage in an excellent location. Great characted, lovely garden and outlook. Do drive over the Bur Road from Church Stretton. We recently spent a week at this lovely cottage tucked into the Shropshire Hills. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and full of character and exposed beams, a log-burning stove. A delightful Cottage in an idyllic location. So well equipped. We were lucky and managed to have beautiful weather so the AGA didn't get much use.
