Gill and Nick are very good hosts, friendly and helpful and not intrusive. Cottage comfortable, although steps to bedroom are very steep. Shower and bathroom excellent. Location stunning and very rural, we hadnt realised it was so rural, but that was our fault for not researching better. Very peaceful and a very enjoyable stay.

Such a delightful cottage, with cleanliness so good we've not experienced this before and it was much appreciated. I have back issues, hip & shoulder replacements....yet the sofa in this cottage was so comfortable!, and the bed firm and supportive. To be comfortable & relaxed was so welcome! There was nothing we wanted that wasn't there. Hooks avaRead moreilable on the back of doors to hang things whenever necessary. The quality of textiles, & art work & artistic touches about the cottage were beautiful, with fresh arrangements on the table & in the lounge. There is a steep staircase to the bedroom. It was quiet & peaceful with nature all about. It was a short drive to both Hay & Ross-on-Wye, plus to delightful walks, & historic house & gardens. We would definitely return as we had such an enjoyable time. Have already recommended this cottage to friends. Hide
