Gorgeous cottage attached to the owners property. Beautiful garden, so lovely to watch the birds, rabbits and squirrels in the mornings. Very friendly owners and we had the scrumptious surprise of a cream tea to welcome us. Cannot fault this little gem at all.

For first time visitors to the Wye Valley, The Retreat was an exceptional property in a lovely location. Excellent facilities, a super-comfy bed, a beautiful garden and very thoughtful and considerate hosts. The scones, homemade jam and cream, on arrival, was a scrummy touch, too. We highly recommend The Retreat to future visitors...

Spacious, comfortable, peaceful spot with, everything we could need and more. The board games and books to read were a lovely touch, as was the cream tea welcome. Being able to see wildlife from the windows was also a bonus, seeing squirrels play in the morning was lovely. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
