With an under-cover hot tub, fabulous children’s play area and paths leading directly into the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, this three-bedroom holiday home has something for everyone. Located within the grounds of the owner’s farm, it’s just 4 miles from beautiful Brecon.

Share special moments with loved ones at this welcoming home-from-home on the northern edge of the National Park. Thoughtfully furnished and equipped, it features a bright, country-style kitchen with all the self-catering essentials and space for six to cook and dine together. An extended cloakroom houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying facilities for coats and boots, and when it’s time to relax, the lounge has dual-aspect windows delivering panoramic views across a patchwork of fields. A family-style bathroom and separate WC ensure comfort and convenience for all, and when it’s time for sleep, there’s a choice of three bedrooms – the master has a king-size bed and TV, and there’s also a pretty double and a twin room. Well-tended grounds surround the property. At the front, the large, enclosed lawned area is surrounded by a mixture of plants and border shrubs. Adding a touch of luxury, a log cabin houses a hot tub and is a lovely place to soak in the stunning scenery whatever the weather. To the rear is a lawn and patio area with garden seating and BBQ, perfect for dining alfresco. Children can let off steam in their own play area where there’s a swing, slides, see-saw and outdoor toys.

Off-road parking for four cars means friends or family can gather from afar and enjoy walks into the Brecon Beacons from the doorstep. Just 4 miles away, the cathedral town of Brecon has gorgeous Georgian architecture and a great range of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Visit the heritage centre, follow Captain’s Walk and see the remains of the town’s medieval walls, or visit the South Wales Borderers Museum at Brecon Barracks. The National Park is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts – hike, hire mountain bikes or enjoy pony trekking at Cantref Adventure Farm (less than 1 mile away) or try sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking at Llangorse Lake (7.5 miles).

Absolutely gorgeous property, stunning views and Ann is wonderful. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 teenagers and stayed for a week. The bungalow was perfect for us and the hot tub was an added bonus.

We had a perfect holiday at Anns bungalow, we were 3 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for us all. We loved the hot tub, it was a perfect after days exploring the area. We were within easy reach of lots of walks and the farm park for the kids. There was everything you need at the cottage and even a bunch of daffodils and fresh mRead moreilk in the fridge for when we arrived. The garden was a good size with a play park for the kids and lovely views across Brecon. We would definitely return and wanted to stay longer! Hide

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, this is a lovely cottage, very well equipped with everything you need for a very relaxing break, the hot tub is a real bonus, and its in its own shed which is handy with the occasional Welsh shower ! Lots of great walking in the area, the waterfall walks are a must. We highly recommend this cottage .

A wonderful stay in a very clean and comfortable bungalow. Ann is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The kids loved the indoor hot tub, play area, books and games. We enjoyed hiking and biking from the door and loved the peaceful location.

What an absolute gem! Ann's Bungalow was very well equipped, comfortable and spotless. The hot tub was well-maintained in it's own little building with nice touches like a privacy screen for changing. The bungalow is well laid out with nice homely touches, and the kitchen has everything you can need. The washing machine and dryer are always a huge Read morehelp. We stayed here for 2 weeks, and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage had everything we needed; the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc, and there were books and toys for the kids too. It was so peaceful and quiet, with some lovely places to walk as well. Ann is lovely, and would stop and have a chat when we saw her to check we didn't need Read moreanything or have any problems. The cottage itself is very well maintained as well, as was the garden. We will definately look to return some time :) Hide

This was a brilliant place to stay in, was nice and quiet down some narrow country roads about 4 miles from Brecon. The bungalow had all the amenities needed inc washing machine. hot tub was easy to work. Ann the owner had everything sorted and good communication. Ann's Barn is definitely a rare find. The playground was perfect entertainment for our little ones and the sit play equipment was fun for wizzing around the garden. The hot tub was a particular luxury for us. The bungalow is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you can think of. The children loved the range of toys and puzzles. Delightful bungalow and so peaceful. It was lovely to have everything we needed and the kitchen was excellent. Nice to have a decent supply of all the basics like toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets etc! The hot tub was fabulous. I would be very happy to return.

Lovely bungalow and owner Ann was very helpful and accommodating. Hot tub was a great temperature and stays warm even in very cold snap in January when it was sub zero degrees outside. Bungalow is very clean and tidy too. Would recommend.

A beautiful cottage at the heart of the Brecon beacons. It has a playground, fantastic hot tub, BBQ, wonderful views and perfect locations. The cottage is immaculately clean and very well maintained. Ann is a wonderful host, very welcoming and available. We highly recommend this property!

Wonderful cottage, beautifully clean, comfortable and well equipped for our family holiday. Real attention to detail and everything we needed and more. The view from the front of the house is stunning. Hot tub, which was also immaculate, was a huge bonus after a days walking.
