We had a lovely stay in this wing of a unique house with real heritage, in a quiet & off the beaten track location. Nicely refurbished without losing any character, cosy woodburner, lovely table tennis room in the courtyard, pretty gardens, tennis court, bbq, amazing views & lots of sheep and pheasants. Brecon is about 40 min drive, Builth less thaRead moren 15 mins & the Elan Valley under 30 mins. Local village a few mins away has a handy pub/cafe & petrol station. Kind, friendly help on hand if needed. Hide

The house (cottage would be an understatement) is very spacious, well equipped and situated on a beautiful remote location. Though the house is really ancient, it is well preserved and comfortable. A very good base for exploring that part of Wales.

The property is well equipped, restful and of character. The surroundings are fabulous and we had good access to all areas of the Beacons as well as local walks. Lots of space for our family to relax within and unwind.

The house is well equipped and very comfortable in a stunning location. Our hosts were wonderful and even went out of their way to help us with a flat tyre we discovered as we were due to leave - thank you!
