We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The quiet location is great for walking either straight from the door or a short drive away. The cottage was spotlessly clean and cosy with the log fire. Kitchen is well equipped. Lovely garden round the back where we managed to catch the evening sun with a cuppa after a day of walking. The owners weRead morere welcoming and around if we needed anything. It was exactly what we were looking for - thank you! Hide

We have enjoyed a second stay in Trewalkin Barn this year. Yes it was that good! The barn is so cosy with the woodburner and is very clean. Our host is very attentive and on hand for anything if needed. The location is brilliant for walks - perfect with our pooch.

We had the most wonderful stay at Trewalkin Barn. Such a charming place with lovely details. Georgina was also incredibly kind in helping arrange a special anniversary surprise for my husband, which made our visit even more memorable. The location was perfect for exploring Brecon, Abergavenny, Hay-on-Wye, Mynydd Illtyd, and Llantony Priory. We are Read moreso grateful for such a beautiful experience! Hide

We had a wonderful time at Trewalkin Barn. Its such a beautiful location but also a comfortable distance from some more touristy locations as well. We did a bit of both. Some site seeing but also relaxing in the lovely garden. Theres everything you need at the barn so not much need to leave unless you want to!

Cottage was very cosy and well located for a vast number of walks and several on the doorstep step. If you come with a dog, there's a lovely place called The Wholeyard where you pay a small fee and they have the use of 4 acres to run around in. Very close to Brecon for shops.

Lovely cottage, just found the stairs a bit tricky to negotiate as quite steep. Everything you need for cooking etc. Bed lovely and comfy, recliner seat in the lounge fantastic. Only real issue was the shower which we found a little small but then we are on the larger side and need to loose weight I guess. For the first time ever (in any place we hRead moreave stayed) a great wood burner and well stocked to use. Good location. Beware of giant hedgehogs having a party outside at 2am if you take dogs out. Hide
