Gather together family and friends for a getaway at this spacious holiday home bursting with charm. From the exposed stone walls and beams to the floor-to-ceiling windows, the property seamlessly blends the old with the new creating an idyllic base for a break in Mid Wales. Pack a picnic and travel 5 miles to Abergwesyn Common National Trust and you’ll find a perfectly picturesque place to spend a day walking and admiring the natural beauty of the Mid Wales countryside.

As you step inside, take the stairs from the lower ground floor and you’ll find the wide open sitting room which boasts towering windows with valley views, a warming wood burner and a selection of comfortable seating options, perfect for get-togethers. Next door is the main living room area with a cosy feel and muted colour palette ensuring a relaxing space for all the family between the three sofas, armchairs and small dining table. When it’s time for a family feast, the kitchen/diner is equipped with a traditionally styled set up seating up to ten guests with plenty of space to store produce and prepare a meal. The tastefully decorated bedrooms are spread between the lower ground floor and the first floor, both accessible via the sitting room, enjoying charming, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. On the first floor, you’ll find the main hub of bedrooms; three equipped with charming king-size beds and one with a double. Two of the knig bedrooms even boast their own lovely en-suite shower rooms. The final bedroom, a twin, is on the lower ground floor. Surrounding the holiday home is a pretty garden with plenty of space on the lawn for garden games, as well as a blissful hot tub where you can sit and watch the stars at night.

Avid wildlife watches should take the chance to visit Gigrin Farm (20 miles) where 160 acres of blissful farmland is on offer for you to explore. Be sure to catch the incredible display at feeding time at the The Red Kite Feeding Station (23 miles), which happens once a day and is a sight not to miss. Embrace the great outdoors and spend a day walking through the Elan Valley (24 miles) and you’ll get the opportunity to spot rare wildlife, flora and fauna, as well as enjoy the tranquillity of the water’s edge.

This cottage is a beautiful property and we found it exactly as it was described and photographed. It is kept very clean and has all the homely touches. We found everything that we wanted and all had a fabulous time relaxing outside and enjoying all of the beautiful scenery in the area with our many walks and cycle rides. We had a tremendous holiday in this magnificent house. The aspect was stunning and the standard of furnishings and equipment was first class. We spent most evenings before dinner soaking in the hot tub, just bliss!

The property was fantastic. I truly loved how equipt it was. It was cosy despite being so large which honestly was perfect for so many adult and kids. The owners family members were wonderful and kind. Can not thank you all enough.

Our time in this holiday home was perfect - ideal for large groups of family and friends. Brilliant place to stay all around, loads of space (there were 8 of us), beautiful scenery and everything you'd ever need was provided. Only slight hitch was the 'pub nearby ' labelling, which it is - sort of, but a good 40 minutes walk back and all uphill. Didn't stop us though! Very spacious, well maintained property set in an absolutely idyllic location. Ample parking, two fridges, DAB radio, TVs in every bedroom and WIFI access from every room in the house. A beautiful barn, comfortably furnished in a stunning & peaceful location with lovely helpful owners. A large but cosy barn, with loads of space for eating, games, and finding a quiet space! Great location with wonderful walks from the door. The hot tub was a lovely luxury and we enjoyed the stars in the evenings.
