Absolutely gorgeous cottage and very clean. The location is perfect as its less than 5 mins from a main road but when you are there it feels rural and no road noise. Its a very beautiful setting by the canal and with views across to the mountains. Ive stayed in 6 different holiday homes in Abergavenny area and this was my favourite! Highly recommenRead moreded! Our second stay as we enjoyed the cottage so much last time. Cosy but spacious, well maintained, very clean and kitchen is well stocked. Everything is there that you could need. Under floor heating, wood burner (in Canal Cottage) wholly recommend.

This is a lovely property in a beautiful location. The cottage itself was warm, clean and comfortable. The beds and the shower were all fantastic. For us, the proximity to the canal was the big draw of this cottage. The towpaths are beautifully maintained and lovely to walk on, even after several days of heavy rainfall. We enjoyed exploring in bothRead more directions. There are welcoming, dog-friendly pubs and a cafe within walking distance, and as a bonus we saw a heron and a kingfisher on our walks. Hide
