We had a fabulous stay in Lavender Cottage. It's very rural, lovely for peace and quiet. Everything had been thought of for a great stay. The Castle in was closed until Mid-March, so we travelled to Knighton & had a lovely meal in the Horse & Jockey. Sunday Lunch at The Lion in Leintwardine was superb. I gave the value 2 stars as I discovered afterRead more my stay when searching to stay again in the summer, that there is no pricing structure & you are charged for a full week, even for a weekend.

My husband and I spent a lovely 3 night stay at this property. Very clean and cozy and we loved having the hot tub to use. The lodge proved to be a great base from which to explore the area, and is set in a quiet location with great views of the hills beyond. Normally living in a relatively urban area, the total darkness at night was striking. The level of equipment was excellent, as was the overall cleanliness and comfort, with the hot tub being the icing on the cake.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. We had everything we needed as the lodge was extremely well equipped. We werent expecting a bbq in 29 degrees!!! So had great fun. Lovely quiet location and added bonus of a hot tub which we made good use off. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends and family.

Perfect for relaxing, we were only able to stay three nights but the lodge was beautiful, set in a nice area with plenty to do. The host was pleasant and lovely whom we happened to meet on two separate occasions by chance. Hope to have the opportunity to stay again.
