We loved this cottage and there certainly was a welcome in the hillside with the above and beyond welcome pack. Gorgeous courtyard area with a lovely little flower bed. We felt the owner had put a lot of effort into making this a home from home and not just a place to stay. Lots of shops and takeaways in the area. Friendly locals.

Great house with lots of nice little touches to make our stay more comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to be able to cook meals and a nice area for eating inside and outside. It's quite hilly around the house if you are walking to the local 'town' which has a small supermarket and a couple of takeaways / shops - nice local deli with coffee and cake :) Hide

We stayed at this lovely cottage for a few days with our son and daughter joining us there from their universities. Great cottage, all to a high standard and super clean. The welcome pack was much appreciated. It just takes a while to heat up the living room, so put the heating on when you arrive! We had some issues activating the Security pad, until we found it that you have to put the palm of your hand on it...

We appreciated the welcome gifts to start us off on the holiday. It was an ideal location for our Orienteering event and provided everything we needed to recover between events. The property is well cared for and provided a comfortable respite. We didn't spend much time in Blaenavon itself as we were travelling around the Brecon Beacon area.
