The cottage was in a lovely location and the views were superb. We did feel that the property was just becoming a bit tired and the paintwork could really do with refreshing in some places. In addition the kitchen tap dripped incessantly. There was also a lack of essentials. I'm not sure if others received a welcome pack of any sort, but we dRead moreidn't which we found quite unusual for a holiday let, and as such there was no milk, etc available to even make a cup of tea on arrival. We also missed that there was no microwave and that seemed to be an oversight. Overall, the cottage was comfortable and some thought had gone into the fact that we were bringing our dogs (beds and bowls, etc), which was nice There was some building work going on in one of the other barns, which we didn't know about before we arrived. It was fairly unobtrusive, but it would have been good to be aware before we arrived. Hide

We had a fabulous stay here. The cottage exceeded our expectations and was very clean and comfortable. The views were stunning and the location was perfect for walking. The hot tub was an additional bonus especially after walking for most of the day.
