Firstly, an absolute idyllic location with gentle rolling hills and breathtaking views. Most importantly, it was quiet and isolated; truly 'at one with nature'. Although the accommodation was basic and rustic (which is fine), it still needs some general love and care. The lighting is appalling; there isn't a proper fridge and using the eco toilet iRead moren the pitch black, across the rainy decking is an experience. Not suitable for disabled guests or for the faint-hearted. Cheap and cheerful. Hide

Fantastic quiet location, great facilities - the dog towel was a godsend as we forgot ours! A great base for lovely walks, and the Shepherds Hut had everything you could need. Thank you

This was a fabulous getaway. Star gazing was spectacular with little light to distract. Sunsets lit up the sky and the views were breathtaking. This was a very well set up shepherds hut, decor was well thought out, and the peace and quiet was really something that was so refreshing.
