  • Within a mile of a championship golf course, sandy beach and thriving seaside village
Property code: OC-DY013

This coastal holiday home sits high above Aberdyfi/Aberdovey, boasting far-reaching sea views. The property, which sleeps seven guests, is the perfect base for families and friends looking to explore the spectacular beaches, mountains, and outdoor activities on offer in southern Eryri/Snowdonia. In the evenings, stroll 0.5 miles into the village, to dine in one of the many restaurants, or enjoy an outdoor meal on the raised patio whilst admiring the fantastic views across the bay.

The stylish property is decorated in hues of blue and aquamarine, with a fun collection of seaside-themed accessories. The hub of the home is a bright and spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, which has an impressive three sets of French doors opening out onto the garden. Cook up a storm in the chic kitchen area, before coming together for dinner parties around the wooden dining table. After dinner, relax on the plump sofas to watch the TV/DVD or read a book. A shower room and utility room round off the ground floor. The four beautiful bedrooms are upstairs, three of which enjoy fabulous sea views. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, and there’s also a family bathroom. On a summer’s evening, head outside to the raised patio with a glass of wine to take in your glorious surroundings.

Aberdyfi has a long, sandy beach that’s popular for water sports. During your stay, you can try your hand at sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, and paddleboarding, or perhaps join the locals for a spot of crabbing from the jetty. Alternatively, find a quiet spot on the sand and soak up the sunshine whilst marvelling at the tranquil views of Cardigan Bay and the mountains of southern Snowdonia/Eryri. There are some stunning walks leading out of the village, including the Old Roman Road to the beauty spot of Picnic Island.

The property was amazing. It was extremely well equipped and was very clean. We were really pleased when we arrived. I loved that they had provided lots of little extras such as hand soap and some toilet roll, tea/coffee sachets. Very thoughtful. The views are stunning! This is a beautiful property, we would highly recommend it.

A lovely property. Well equipped. Has the most amazing view over the sea/estuary. Some lovely walks in the surrounding hills. Had a visit from a family of pheasants each evening, very tame, ate from your hand. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area.

The house sure is a stunning place to stay. But, there were a few negatives which I will list. The house wasn't very clean when we arrived. Cobwebs and spiders in most corners of rooms. Showers had a little mold on the tiles. One thing that irritated me because I am a light sleeper is the noise of the floorboards upstairs clonking. I also text owneRead morer twice with no response? 2 best restaurants by far are the Coast Deli and Sea Breeze. Bad things aside I would stay again, the view in wonderful. Hide
