Aberdyfi’s beautiful beach is its biggest draw – 4 miles of perfect sand backed by dunes, offering water sports, sailing and swimming – plus there are boat trips from the harbour for fishing, wildlife-spotting and beautiful views. The renowned links course is a must for golfers, and there are plenty of shops and places to eat in town. Head inland to climb the celebrated peaks of Cader Idris, 16 miles.
