We have stayed in this cottage 3 (4?) times over the years now - and we are happy with the balance of pros and cons. It feels like a lovely holiday home when we stay. We like the feel (atmosphere) of the cottage and the cleanliness; also the benefit of a sitting out area plus decent table and chairs (replaced since our last visit) - in addition, pRead moreroximity to the front and relative flatness of route. Kitchen is very much sufficient for home cooking, with good quality utensils and oven / microwave. Outlook from front is not brilliant, but front only a couple of minutes walk. Seagull numbers seem to have increased - which is not a unique effect on this cottage - but the double glazing is effective in mitigating early morning alarm call. Landing walkway is a little narrow in width which might be a factor for some. Hide

We had a brilliant time at 1 church St. The location was fantastic and the cottage had everything we needed - really appreciate the provision of tea towels and dishwasher tablets etc. Would highly recommend to a couple or small family. Our 11 year old loved her bedroom with a double bed.
