Stunning detached cottage with a hot tub, located in a beautifully secluded spot that is accessed via the owners working dairy farm. Following the same lane as the dairy cows (separated by a fence), you will cross a small bridge over the River Elwy, and begin to climb gradually above the valley floor to overlook the river and the dairy cows grazing in the fields below. This two-bedroom family home is just 5 miles from the A55, offering easy access to the North Wales coast and attractions. After a day’s exploring, you’ll love returning here to watch wildlife from the garden, and unwind in the outdoor hot tub sipping a glass of your favourite tipple.

Let everyday stresses and worries melt away as you approach this cottage via a private lane and a bridge over the River Elwy. Step inside to find interiors every bit as enticing as your surroundings. Original features blend with contemporary style, while natural light baths the rooms, exuding a feeling of warmth and comfort. Get creative in the modern fitted kitchen, where granite worktops, a Belfast sink and gorgeous country views keep you company as you cook. Then gather together to wine, dine and chat, snug next to the wood burner in the lounge/diner or on the patio table in the fresh country air. Enjoy quality time with your loved ones in the evening, stargazing from the hot tub or gathered on the large corner sofa in the lounge. Then head upstairs for a blissful night’s sleep in the inviting double bedroom or the elegant twin room. A large family bathroom with a walk-in shower and a freestanding bathtub next to the window means you can even refresh with a view!

Set off from your cottage to explore on foot – there’s a lovely 3.5-mile walk to the village of Llanfair Talhaiarn, where you’ll find a village pub and shop. Or venture north to the seaside town of Abergale (5.5 miles) to enjoy the sandy beach, pick up the Wales Coast Path, or discover Iron Age forts in the surrounding hills. The historic market town of Denbigh (10.5 miles) offers secret gardens, listed buildings and a lively food and arts scene. Or head to Betws-y-Coed (19.5 miles), gateway to Snowdonia National Park.

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 twin

A very pretty cottage in a lovely quiet setting. There is a rather long bumpy track to the cottage which you should be aware of, although when you get there, the views are so lovely and relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed and was tastefully decorated and furnished. Relaxing in the hottub on an evening, looking at the stars was perfect!
