This attractive cottage in the Pembrokeshire countryside is ideal for families looking for a relaxing holiday and a base to explore the nearby coastline. The property is 2 miles outside St Davids (2 miles), Britain’s smallest city. Here, you can explore the 12th-century cathedral, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, and browse a selection of independent shops. On a warm day, head to Caerfai Beach (2 miles) with its sheltered bay, the perfect spot for swimming, or try Whitesands (3 miles), popular with families and surfers.

This welcoming property, set over two levels, has a home-from-home feel with throws on the sofas, bright artwork reflecting nature on the walls and light-coloured walls. Step into a warm and inviting open-plan lounge, kitchen, and diner. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating, with two sofas and separate armchairs centred around the wood burner-effect electric fire and Smart TV. Relax together and chat, plan your adventures or enjoy a film night. There is a dining table and a contemporary, galley-style kitchen with all the necessary appliances to rustle up some family favourites. There is a downstairs king-size bedroom and shower room. A family bathroom and two more bedrooms are upstairs: one double and one twin. There is a generously sized lawned garden to play on and outdoor seating should you wish to dine alfresco or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets.

Discover the historic chapel and well at St Nons (2.5 miles). Continue from there along the cliff-top coastal path and admire the breathtaking views across St Brides Bay. Head to the Blue Lagoon in Abereiddy for adventurous water sports, just 5.5 miles away. If you have sea legs, head to St Justinians (3.5 miles) and take a wildlife trip to see Ramsey Island or Skomer Island. Alternatively, stay on dry land and enjoy a walk at St. David’s Head (3.5 miles).

The rug in the lounge was slippy, got it up to find sand underneath. Accident waiting to happen. Had to tighten screws in table as it was too wobbly to eat off. Had to buy Brillo pads to clean racks and tins in oven. No anti slip mats in bath or shower. Very slippy. En-suite to ground floor bedroom very small. Caravans have larger sinks!

A lovely cottage in a great location within walking distance of St Davids. We had a great week exploring the area and walking the coastal path.

A gorgeous cottage in a beautiful location. If you want to sip your tea in a meadow garden at the end of an energetic day after jumping waves in one of those wonderous Welsh beaches nearby and see the swallows dance at sunset... this is the place for you!

Beautiful house well furnished but not cluttered. The views are stunning, very quiet with only bird song which we loved. It would have been useful to have a washing basket to care washing in and out of the house.
