Although it is a working farm the up keep of the wooden windows and doors of the 3 cottages were in need of sanding and re varnishing along with the outdoor furniture. This is nit picking, but it would elongate their. Lede if kept up, the stone work is so pretty, it just brought down the aesthetics.

This was our fourth visit to Stonestep Cottage and we had yet another fabulous (my 9-year-old son's description!) time. The cottage is comfortable, spacious and in a very peaceful location. We had a lovely stay at Stone Step cottage with our 6 year old. The photos on the website do not do it justice - it feels spacious and cosy all at the same time. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there is plenty of room to unpack and feel at home. The location near the main road is very convenient, and there are plenty of places nearby to visiRead moret - Denbigh Castle, St Asaph Cathedral and dinner at the Dinorben Arms were highlights. The fresh eggs and Welsh cakes were a lovely touch! Hide

This is a gorgeous little cottage. It is very well equipped and the underfloor heating makes it very cosy. The lounge is very big and comfortable and could easily sit more than 5 people. There are massive windows in the lounge and kitchen /dining room which makes the whole place incredibly light and we stayed in late September. The extra bathroom iRead mores also a bonus as well as an under counter freezer which made shopping / storing food easy. It is quite a find and we will return over and over again Hide
