Property code: OC-FB097

Nolton Haven’s sandy beach is just 100 metres from this sweet chalet, which is the perfect size for small families - and dog friendly, too. A play area on the complex will keep little ones happy, and on warm evenings you can enjoy an al fresco drink or meal on the deck outside.

Climb the five steps to the front deck of this lovely property and enter through the front door straight into the open-plan living space. Light and bright, it’s furnished in a contemporary style with fresh, invigorating colours. There’s a kitchen at the far end, a dining table and a lounge area where you can stretch out on the sofas and relax after a day in the great outdoors. Here there’s a TV and a DVD player to keep everyone amused. When you’re feeling sleepy, there are two bedrooms, a vibrant double with ample storage and a triple room with bunk beds and a single. They share a sleek shower room. If you feel like a sundowner or an al fresco dining experience, take your food out to the table on the deck and enjoy the fresh sea air. As the chalet is set on a small complex of similar properties, there’s also a children’s play and picnic area nearby where you can take your little ones to let off steam.

The chalet is located about 0.5 miles outside the hamlet of Nolton Haven. Its long, narrow beach is popular for water sports and boating, and boasts a pub/restaurant right next door. From here you can explore beaches along St Bride’s Bay or, for a change of pace, head into St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, 9.5 miles, where you’ll find the iconic cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, an array of interesting shops and plenty of places to eat and drink.

Really lovely location with quick access on foot to nearby beach at Nolton Haven and coastal path for walking. Some terrific beaches nearby in Druidstone and Newgale. Some excellent viewing points on the coastal path for sunsets. Cottage was comfortable with all required amenities and provisions, not found wanting for anything. Good shower and verRead moreanda with table and furniture was most welcome given the hot weather during our stay with lovely sun trap particularly in the morning. Dogs welcome with site rules stating dogs must be on lead. Make sure you take an extendable lead for the dog so it can be tethered to the veranda whilst sitting outside or with doors open so it does not wander as per site rules. Cost for 5 night stay very reasonably priced. All in all a good quiet location and base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastal area, walks and activities. Nice welcome gift left by owners. Would happily return. Hide

This was a great last minute find for our family of 3, plus dog. A bit early in the season for camping and we wanted some creature comforts. The place was spotless and well equipped. Lots of board games too which is a nice touch, as were the lovely biscuits. Nolton Haven itself was perfect for a quiet beach getaway and access to the coastal path.

Overall a great little place. We had a couple of issues with getting the oven going, and the terrestrial TV, but overall well-equipped, clean and welcoming. We booked the place as it had EV chargers on site, a bit more info on how to get those going might have been helpful, there didn't seem to be any info within the chalet itself.

We just spent a wonderful week here with our 3 kids. There were lots of games and the Wii was a big hit. The cottage is really well stocked with everything you'd need, and being a short walk from a lovely cove beach was great. There are also other beautiful beaches a few minutes drive away. We highly recommend it, and we will certainly be back! agaRead morein. Hide
