On a quiet country road with only the owner’s grazing livestock for neighbours, you’re well-positioned to enjoy a calm retreat with loved ones in this splendid farmhouse. Ideally suited to a small family or a couple hoping to spread out a little bit, this cottage sleeps three and is also dog-friendly. Set out each day with your hiking boots on, admiring the country roads and rolling fields that surround you, or step out a little further to explore the coast (4 miles) and the northernmost part of the Snowdonia National Park (10 miles).

Offering a delicate blend of country charm and homely features, this two-storey cottage is undeniably comfortable and instantly appealing. The ground floor offers an open-plan layout with the kitchen, lounge and dining spaces easily blending into one sociable environment. The dining area offers a conservatory-style layout with ample windows letting in natural light and offering a view out to the garden. The garden itself is a wonderful space for catching the last of the day’s sun. Back indoors, pass the table football and the downstairs bathroom as you make your way upstairs to find two further bedrooms. The smaller of the room, a snug single, features an en-suite.

Venture along winding country roads to reach the seaside town of Colwyn Bay, 4 miles away. One of North Wales’ most exciting attractions, the town offers a stretch of sandy beach, the Welsh Mountain Zoo and a seemingly endless array of pubs, breweries and restaurants to make the most of throughout your stay. On the edge of town discover Pwllycrochan Woods (3.5 miles), a nature spot filled with trails and beautiful sights. Discover further splendour at Bodnant Garden (4.5 miles), a National Trust-maintained spot on the edge of the River Conwy.

Lovely property with gorgeous views. Very peaceful location so undisturbed sleep is guaranteed. The roads are not for the faint hearted however so be prepared. Only downside was the main bathroom being downstairs for us.

Fabulous well equipped cottage with all the home comforts you wish for, the only issue we had was the owners dogs doing their business outside the front doors each day so we just had to mind our step going out of the front door but the location is fabulous for exploring wales and the cottage is spacious and homely

The cottage was spotlessly clean. It was well equipped and comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable. The location is set in beautiful countryside and is very peaceful. However, it is not too far away from Conwy and Colwyn Bay.. We would thoroughly recommend this property.
