Wales’ heritage coastline is yours to explore from the fabulous village of Solva. Creature comforts await in this home-from-home property in a single-storey layout, a space with a private patio for soaking up the sea air and cosy interiors too. Sleeping four guests, this cottage encourages restful stays with friends or as a couple seeking that little bit of extra space. It’s also dog-friendly with an endless array of pet-friendly hiking routes on offer close by, including along the wild Pembrokeshire Coast Path with spectacular clifftops and pristine beaches.

Everything’s neatly positioned on one floor in this charming bungalow, putting everything you need at your fingertips. The lounge/diner is yours for enjoying slow mornings and chilled-out evenings, complete with a drop-leaf dining table enabling you to appreciate a little bit of extra space when the table isn’t in use. Get curled up on the sofas with the TV/DVD on or circle the table with a board game in play. Next door, a kitchen is thoroughly equipped for preparing your favourite meals. You can choose to step outdoors and dine alfresco, leaving via French doors in the lounge. Back indoors, move along the hallway to reach two bedrooms and a final bathroom.

Solva is a beautiful seaside village with a spattering of pubs, cafes, fish and chip shops lined up along the edge of the harbour (less than 0.5 miles) At low tide, a stretch of sand emerges to create a cute little beach with rockpools and caves. To find a more consistent beach, head towards Caerfai Bay (3.5 miles) on the coastal path. This beautiful beach presents an arc of golden sand surrounded by impressive rock formations. Close to here, visit St Davids (3 miles), the UK’s smallest city with history to explore.
