Nestled in a complex of charming cottages overlooking the village of Penclawdd on the scenic North Gower coast, this spacious stone-built cottage offers a delightful combination of rustic charm and contemporary comfort, complete with a private patio garden and access to a shared hot tub.

As you step inside, you’ll find a welcoming lounge with a stone fireplace, exposed wooden beams, polished wooden floors, and comfortable seating. The room is equipped with an electric wood effect fireand a TV, making it an ideal space to unwind after a day of exploration. There’s also a pop-up double bed available to accommodate two extra guests if needed. The well-equipped kitchen/diner has everything you need for your culinary endeavours, and French doors from the kitchen provide access to the garden area. Continuing through the property, you’ll discover a generously sized ground-floor king-size bedroom with French doors leading to the patio. A lovely tiled shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, the patio area with garden furniture invites you to relax with a glass of wine while taking in the spectacular views. The shared hot tub, utility room, and various outdoor games are available to guests.

Access to the Wales Coast Path is in the village, offering excellent opportunities to explore the natural beauty of North Gower. You’ll also be ideally located to explore all the renowned Gower beaches for a day of seaside fun, or venture to Cefn Bryn (8 miles), famous for Arthur’s Stone and its captivating hiking trails. For an exciting city experience, make the 7.5-mile drive to Swansea, a bustling urban centre with attractions for all, including the National Waterfront Museum, marina, and a variety of shops and restaurants to enjoy.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was in a great location and well set up, and the owners really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The Stables was the perfect base for a holiday in the Gower. The cottage is beautifully renovated with all of the facilities that you could possibly need. If you are not in the mood for cooking at home there are plenty of eateries within easy reach. The views at the back of the property from our patio were far-reaching and relaxing and we loved theRead more horses visiting us on most days. Beautiful location and lovely cottage. The view from the cottage was stunning. We had a wonderful holiday here. The owners were very friendly and on site if needed. The cottage was very comfortable too.

Adam and Lyn made us very welcome and were supportive hosts whenever assistance was needed. The location was fantastic as a base for exploring various locations on the Gower during our stay. It was quite easy to find using the postcodes given. Whilst we were blessed with wonderful weather during our stay we were also able to relax both inside and sRead moreat outside of the cottage. The cottage had everything we (and our two dogs) had hoped for! The location and the places we visited, where not only new to us, but also absolutely wonderful. We have visited many places in Wales, but have agreed that this was our favourite. Definitely coming back!!
