The cottage is beautiful and it is home from home. The place is lovely. The only issues are parking is hard work, typical terraced street. And the next door neighbour was doing building work on the house which impacted our stay at times, due to the noise. It felt like you were living next door to a building site. Perfect is the only way I can describe this beautiful cottage. From the interaction with Faye the owner from the offset to the pristine layout. The decking and view is out of this world and the position in the village makes it a 2 minute walk to either of the eateries. Just three minutes' walk from the sea, with spectacular views of the bay from the terrace and some rooms, this is a truly lovely place to stay. Borth-Y-Gest is small and charming; the caf we visited was welcoming and friendly, the seashore birdlife was excellent (and can be watched with ease from the house terrace with a decent set of binoculars!) A lovely property which has been maintained to a high standard. Pati area great views of the estuary with comfortable furniture etc. The stairs are quite narrow and steep for anyone not too mobile. Very comfortable and lots to see and do around the area. Great walks from the house with beautiful beaches. Excellent eating cafes in Borth y guest.
