Create unforgettable memories with your loved ones at this pretty timber lodge in the coastal village of Port Eynon. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it provides the perfect getaway for small families or groups of friends seeking a traditional escape on the South Wales coast. During the day, explore the stunning stretch of golden sand at Port Eynon Beach - it’s the perfect spot for a happy day of sunbathing and swimming. In the evening, sip a glass or two of wine in the cottage’s pretty courtyard while the stars come out.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by an inviting hallway leading to a lovely open-plan living/dining room with traditional hunter lodge-style decor. Make yourself at home in front of the crackling wood burner before heading to the country-style kitchen to whip up some dinner. Gather your loved ones at the round dining table and eat while taking in the views of the Grower Peninsula. Alternatively, head out into the pretty courtyard and dine alfresco. After dinner, crack open a bottle of wine in the and sit back to watch the stars come out, or enjoy a movie marathon in the cosy living area. At the end of the day, climb the vintage wooden ship stairs and you’ll find two attractive double bedrooms. The historic stairs are steep and uneven, but they have sturdy handrails (they may not be suitable if you have any mobility issues).

Take a trip to the intriguing cave-like formation of Culver Hole (1 mile). Used by smugglers over the years, it lends an air of mystery and intrigue. Alternatively, visit the golden-sands of Horton Beach (1 mile) – you’ll see the remains of ancient salt houses that whisper tales of a time when this area thrived from the harvest of the sea.

Lovely location, lovely bed, and bedding but the house needs cleaning, would be better if it was finished off , not clean !! paint work terrible, one hook ( broken) on shower room door, too much money per week for the standard it was presented in. Garden a sun trap but poorly finished.

Milan Cottage was the perfect place for a much needed retreat. Its charming features and wonderful position with views of the sea were magical. As wild life lovers we enjoyed the surroundings and easy access to the coastal path. I would recommend for anyone seeking a quiet and restorative break away.

This is a quaint and cosy period cottage with authentic decor and furnishings. The quirky stairs and upstairs "under the eaves" feeling add to it's charm. Its in a great location for access to coastal walks and for exploring the Gower. Its not the last word in high-end convenience of modern living. The bathroom facilities are adequate but not greatRead more. The upstairs "Jack and Jill" bathroom is a welcome addition. Expect to enjoy it for what it is and its fine. Hide
