A stylish pod offers a tranquil spot for couples who want to enjoy a quieter pace of life as they explore the scenic landscape of North Wales. One pet is also welcome. Located close to the market town of Corwen, the pod has a hot tub and lovely, far-reaching rural views. Corwen has shops, pubs and eating places, and there is a wealth of walks, cycle paths and mountain trails in the surrounding countryside. Beautiful Llangollen on the banks of the River Dee and historic Ruthin, both within 15 miles, have a host of attractions to enjoy.

Wake up to wonderful country views from your king-size bed in this cosy retreat. A comfortable sofa, dining table and compact kitchen in the charming, open-plan interior all have the same lovely outlook through large glass doors. The pod is beautifully furnished in contemporary style, with a colour palette of grey, white and touches of yellow. A streamlined shower room completes the well-planned layout. Outside, relax and admire the view from the hot tub on the patio, which has garden furniture and a BBQ—perfect for outdoor dining.

See the prehistoric stone in Corwen’s 12th century church and walk or cycle on trails through the Clocaenog Forest (9 miles), as you look out for red squirrels. At Corwen station, hop on the delightful Llangollen Heritage Railway steam train for a 10-mile scenic journey beside the River Dee. Llangollen is famous for the annual Eisteddfod and as a World Heritage site for its canal and the spectacular Pontcysysllte Aqueduct. Enjoy a horse-drawn, dog-friendly boat trip along the canal or a motorised journey across the Aqueduct. Visit Ruthin for a journey through time at Nantclwyd y Dre, a medieval house with 500 years of history.

We stayed in Y Gadlas in January. It's a modern, vibrant and very cosy pod in a very secluded and peaceful location. The owners left a lovely welcome pack with local goodies and the pod had everything else you might need. The hot tub was a lovely way to spend dawn and dusk in January. We loved it here and hope to return!

Would definately recommend this. A lovely comfortable 4 night stay. The pod has everything you need. It was clean and tidy upon arrival. Nice welcome hamper, bbq coals and robes for the hot tub which was so nice to relax in at the end of the day. Very dog friendly, there was a put together dog play pen which we used to secure the front entrance. ThRead moree cows coming to say hello was great. Only negative was alot of wasps and flies but it was a mini heatwave at the time so not the owners fault. Hide

I highly recommend this place for a relaxing long weekend, the view was lovely, the accommodation was cozy and well equipped with everything you'd need. The hot tub was 10/10 and they checked it everyday to ensure it was running correctly. They had a guide to how to use everything and what to do upon leaving so it was nice and easy. The only probleRead morem we had was the abundance of flies and they asked for us to put all laundry in a bag to which they did not supply. Hide

Such a relaxing, peaceful few days. Great for walks, although the public footpaths are difficult to navigate due to a lack of signs along the paths. We enjoyed cooking on the bbq and hearing the birds twitter in the early evening. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.
